HP Sauce
This is my advertising campaign for HP Sauce. The brief was to help to re-invent the brand and let people know that it is still around, and one of the biggest selling sauces in Britain.
My aim was to try and re-invent the sauce from one of its traits.
I decided to focus on the mark it leaves from the bottom of the bottle, when it gets a bit sticky. Through my campaign I have stayed with the this idea and branched out into different areas that you would associate with HP sauce.
The campaign strategy is 'The Mark of Great Grub'.

I have incorporated the HP sauce mark into making it as a five star sign for a 'greasy spoon' cafe.

Here I have used a napkin folded using origami, to show it popularity in other eating places other than cafe's and greasy spoons.

I have replaced the Lancashire red rose with the mark of the HP bottle to show the popularity in all counties and around England. If I was to do a full campaign on this, i would use a number of different counties.

Here i have chosen this image to show how HP is related to men who work out doors and love their full English breakfasts especially. It is also related to other places of work, and is to show people enjoy the occasion bacon or sausage sandwich before work on their lunch break.

The ad is to show different places you can get off on the tube, to different cafe's, pubs and places that sell food that goes great with HP sauce. It would be part of the map and be included in the keys at the bottom to show what the symbol was for.

Here is a menu for a pub that includes the HP mark as though it is the same as a chef's recommendation mark or vegetarian mark.

Promotional Material.
To promote HP, I had an actual stamp made to promote HP sauce, 'The Mark of Great Britain'. Using the idea of some cafe's and mostly coffee shops, I created a small piece of card with stamp sections on in order for the stamp to placed in the box. It would be used in places such as pubs and cafe's to promote food that is great with HP sauce, and if they filled in enough squares they would receive a meal free or a similar offer. The meal would be something that went well with HP sauce.

For part of my ambient media, I have used HP sauce bottles as a zebra crossing. These would most likely be used to guide people in the direction of a pub, cafe or greasy spoon.
